Three CAPS talks you won’t want to miss!

Fatigued by the daily grind of the school year? Know that you’ll need bucket fillers this summer (after some rest) to fire up your engine?
We are here for you. Three inspiring keynotes are confirmed for the 2022 CAPS Network Summer Huddle. And we can’t wait!

Erik Lindbergh is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and grandson of a famous American aviator. He is the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of VerdeGo Aero which provides Powertrain Systems and Engineering Services to the emerging electric aircraft industry. Erik is the Co-Host of The Lindberghs podcast and also serves as Chairman of the Board of the Charles and Anne Morrow Lindbergh Foundation, and on the board of trustees of the XPRIZE Foundation.

Erik will push our thinking about innovation, risk-taking, and achieving “escape velocity.”

Taylor Shead is and EdTech entrepreneur and founder. She is CEO of STEMuli, the first educational metaverse integrated into public schools in the United States. STEMuli is a Unity powered game-based learning environment where K-12 students can learn and earn their way to college and the workforce. STEMuli was awarded the Transformation Award for EdTech by Forbes and named by Unity as a top 25 EdTech application.

Taylor will share her vision for the future of education and the role CAPS can play in the metaverse.

Clint Robinson is Associate VP, Director of State and Local Government Affairs at Black & Veatch. He is an unabashed champion of the CAPS model, having served on the board of education at the time of the model’s creation. Clint is the original CAPS industry partner and lifelong engineer, best known for his advice for how schools should approach businesses and nonprofits for partnerships, making popular the phrase that now reverberates around the CAPS Network: “What is the 10th thing on your to-do list?”

Clint will provide insights on moving industry partnerships to the next level.
